Community Impact
Outreach and Education
At Paragon Philharmonia, our commitment to community impact is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to contribute to the vibrant life of Grace Episcopal Church by performing at community events such as their annual Back to School Free Market, pancake breakfasts, and food pantry pickups, bringing the joy of music to those we serve.
Beyond performances, we are passionate about nurturing the next generation of musicians. Our partnerships with local educational groups, including the Community Music School of the Piedmont, Northern Virginia Preludio Strings, and Piedmont Youth Symphony, allow us to feature talented student performers in our special prelude performances before select concerts, providing them with invaluable performance experience. We also plan educational workshops, offering students opportunities to grow and develop their musical skills. Through these initiatives, we strive to enrich our community and inspire young artists.
Innovative Arts Partnerships
At Paragon Philharmonia, we believe in the power of collaboration to bring classical music to life in new and exciting ways. Our partnership with Dark Horse Theatre Company is a key example of this approach. By blending classical music with improv theatre, we create performances where the audience isn’t just watching—they’re part of the action. These events invite participation and allow the audience to influence the performance, making each one unique. We’re dedicated to finding new ways to engage with the arts and offering experiences that go beyond the traditional concert setting, keeping our performances fresh, interactive, and memorable.
